Applications are open for Counselling Opportunity at Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative for health inclined Individuals.
Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (hereafter referred to as MANI) is a non-profit organization focused on raising awareness on mental health and illnesses as well as working to connect service users to mental health professionals.
MANI was founded and registered in Nigeria in December 2015 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC/IT NO 83725) but was officially launched on the 11th of June 2016 by a team of young doctors and concerned individuals led by Dr. Victor Ugo.
MANI’s Counselling team consists of dedicated mental health professionals and trained counsellors who work on providing free mental health & emotional first aid, dealing with various cases ranging from suicide intervention to feeling of loneliness, needing someone to talk to or just seeking support in any way.
At the moment, we are seeking only core health professionals and/or students who will be a part of the team to help us provide mental health first aid to those who need it.
Please note that at the moment, if you don’t fit into the above, your application will not be considered, but possibly in the future, when we can make physical trainings more accessible to all, we might get in touch with you.
