Deadline: February 15, 2021

Applications for the 2021 Women Cross DMZ Feminist Korea Peace Fellowship are now open. In this paid virtual program, fellows will have an opportunity to hone their organizing skills and deepen their knowledge of various issues pertaining to Korea peace with longtime organizers, scholars, and advocates in their movement.

Over the course of 6 months, a cohort of fellows will partake in a series of monthly educational workshops that explore the impact of the ongoing Korean War, including the present-day nuclear conflict and the history of women’s peacebuilding in Korea.

Fellows will also have an opportunity to develop activism skills through capacity-building workshops on grassroots and feminist organizing, Congressional advocacy, and media training. Fellows will learn how to write a letter to the editor, publish a blog post, and become an effective advocate for Korea peace during our virtual Advocacy Days.

  • Fellows will receive a $1,000 stipend upon completion of the fellowship.
