Askari Bank make your sacred journey of Hajj full of blessings. Hajj applications will be received at all Askari Bank branches from March 16 till 31, 2023.

Mandatory Requirement 

  • NADRA’s Computerized CNIC
  • International machine readable passports valid at least upto December 26, 2023
  • Medical Fitness Certificate attested by a Medical Officer of any Federal / Provincial Government / Semi Government / Armed Forces / Autonomous Bodies / Corporation Hospitals
  • People suffering from any sort of communicable / contagious disease / mental illness will not be eligible to travel for Hajj

  • Successful Hajj applicants will be selected on the basis of ballot by Ministry of Religious Affairs
  • Those applicants who have not performed Hajj under Government Scheme for the last 5 years, i.e. from 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022 would be entertained but for Hajj-e-Badal (Nafal Hajj) exception is granted subject to submission of undertaking. Further, this restriction will not apply to mahram of a lady and those who want to avail private Hajj Scheme.

Hajj applications will be received for 16 days and in case of over subscription “BALLOTING” will be held to decide the successful Hajj Applications

Q: What is the process for the application to be finalized for Hajj?

The applications will be finalized after balloting

Q: What is the basis of balloting?

Balloting will be held amongst all Group leaders. If a Group leader gets successful, all of its members will automatically qualify for Hajj 2023 and vice versa. Small Family based groups will be encouraged to optimize the chance of qualifying for Hajj 2023.

Q: What is the Hajj Application fee for infants?

Hajj charges for infants born on or after September 15, 2017 are:

Q: Hajj Restriction?

All those who have performed Hajj during the last 5 years (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022) in Government Scheme or want to do Hajj-e-Badal/ Nafal Hajj are eligible to apply subject to provide undertaking for Hajj 2023. This condition will not apply to a Mehram of a Lady and those who want to avail private Hajj Scheme.

Q: What are the documents required?

  • 3 colored photos with light blue back ground (size 4 x 3 cm)
  • Valid CNIC, Form B for children under 18 years
  • Machine readable passport (validity till December 26, 2023)

Q: Who can be a Mehram?

Mehram should accompany women of every age. Husband, father, brother, son, maternal and paternal grandfathers (nana & dada), father-in-law, paternal uncle, maternal uncle (mamu), Nephew (bhanja and bhateeja), son-in-law, grandson (nawasa and pota).

Q: Does a Shia lady need a Mehram?

Shia lady aged 45 years and above does not need a Mehram.

Q: Who can certify the medical portion on the Hajj form?

Medical Fitness Certificate to be attested by a Medical Officer of any Federal/ Provincial/ Semi Government/ Armed Forces/ Autonomous Bodies/ Corporations Hospitals

Q: What is a Hajj Group?

Anybody can apply singly; however two or more people (up to 14) can form a Group.  In case of more than 14 people, 2 or more Groups can be formed.

Q: Do Hajis need to carry Saudi Riyals?

Yes, every Haji will need minimum 2,000 Saudi Riyals (to be arranged by Hajis themselves through Foreign Exchange Co. in Pakistan) in addition to the Hajj Application Fee.
