Can care-givers apply for the SASSA r350 Grant
SASSA GRANT – Only unemployed care-givers who do not receive any grant for themselves or any other financial support may apply for the Special Covid-19 Social Relief of Distress Grant.
Care-givers who also receive a social grant for themselves (old age or disability grants), as well as care givers who are employed or receive any form of financial support will not qualify.
Applications can be done on SASSA Website (http://SRD.sassa.gov.za or through ) WhatsApp on 082 046 8553. You can start Applying from the 6th of August 2021
