Gauteng to employ 1000 persons as Facilities Management maintenance brigade.
The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (DID) is recruiting 1000 unemployed persons who will be deployed as part of the Gauteng Government’s Vacant Land and Facilities Management Maintenance Programme brigade.

Although no work experience is required, eligible applicants must be between 18 years and 55 years of age, and must be prepared to sign a fixed-term contract which is not renewable at the end of the term. Candidates should also be available for the duration of the programme.

Candidates should be residing in the deployed ward or at least near the allocated project. It is important that applicants should not have a criminal record. Appointed persons will be deployed throughout the province as follows:

• Central Corridor (City of Johannesburg) – 9 Municipal Wards

• Northern Corridor (City of Tshwane) – 11 Wards

• Eastern Corridor City of Ekurhuleni) — 6 Wards

• Western Corridor (Merafong Local Municipality and West Rand: 5 Municipal Wards

• Southern Corridor (Sedibeng District Municipality, Emfuleni and Midvaal) — 3 Municipal Wards.
