Deadline for TVET Students To Retrieve Balance from NSFAS Wallet
In todays latest NSFAS News– The management team of National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has recently released a circular on their official twitter page notifying all TVET colleges that the last payment for student allowances made through the NSFAS wallet system was made on November 9 2022 and that all outstanding and further payments will now be made through the new direct payment channel.
It is therefore important for all students to get onboarded to cater for the outstanding disbursement still to be paid in November and be ready for the 2023 disbursements.
We also encourage students with outstanding balances in the NSFAS wallet account to retrieve their funds before November 30th 2022, since the contract with celbux has now ended. The financial aid office (FAO) verification for unblocking and number change will continue to allow student to retrieve their funds however the process will eb terminated from Monday November 21st 2022.
All NSFAS wallet balance for the 2022 academic period, where students were unable to retrieve their funds , those who will be redirected and paid through the new direct payment channel.
