The Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs is offering bursary opportunities to deserving students with disabilities who reside in Gauteng.

The bursary will cover the following expenses:

– Tuition fee and study material

The selection of candidates will be based on, but not limited to the following:

– Permanent residents within Gauteng province
– Proof of disability issued by qualified health practitioner
– Currently studying or intend on studying for undergraduate and postgraduate qualification in any field at registered tertiary institution in South Africa
– Admitted to study in tertiary institution

The following documents should accompany applications

– Application letter
– Certified Copy ID document
– Certified copy of Matric certificate/copies of all education qualifications
– Letter from health practitioner confirming disability
– Proof of admission and registration
– Statement of fees/ quotation of tuition fee
– Proof of residence
