Dear EWC Students, Please note that the Online application that is currently open is for Nated Engineering Returning students, You need to log in as a returning student using your student number and a Pin, Under Student Web, Click Application, then click Submit Application to apply. Application for Returning students in Nated Engineering will close on 26 July 2023. Application for New Students for Trimester 3 will open from 24 July 2023 to 18 August 2023.

Ekurhuleni West Technical, Vocational, Education and Training College (EWC) is a public institution regulated by the FET Colleges Act no 16 of 2006, as amended.

Ekurhuleni West TVET College is situated in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality in Gauteng Province in South Africa. EWC operates within a broad band and diverse communities and comprises of the following six (6) campuses: Alberton, Boksburg, Germiston, Kathorus, (in Katlehong/ Vosloorus/ Thokoza), Kempton (in Kempton Park) and Tembisa.

Use this link to apply if you are already an EWC student and are returning to do another semester or trimester.

New Students: Online Applications

You are considered to be a new student if:

• You are applying for the first time to Ekurhuleni West TVET College;
• You were not enrolled for any course at Ekurhuleni West TVET College before;
• You did not have an EWC Student number in any previous year.

Documents Needed For This Application:

You will be required to upload these into the Application Form in digital format, such as pdf,for example. So please have your digital documents ready for upload.

Please UPLOAD the required documents when requested to do so:

• Identity Document;
• Results;
• Proof of Residence.

If you need an NSFAS bursary, you must also upload proof of income and parents’ / legal guardians’ Identity Documents.

Applicants can also visit the college to book an online application session if you struggle with internet. You can use either your smartphone, tablet or your computer to apply online.
