Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development Grade 10 Opportunities

The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (DID) jointly with the Gauteng Department of Health (DoH) have jobs available for young unemployed youth with a Grade 10 or higher qualification.
If you live Gauteng in the in the City of Johannesburg, City of Ekurhuleni, City of Tshwane and Sedibeng and are able to do basic technical maintenance such as:
• Repairs of door locks
• Painting
• Closing roof leakages,
• Replacing broken windows
• Health institutions yard maintenance (grass cutting, gardening, etc)
• Cleaning of wards and administration building
To qualify you need to be:
• Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 – 35
• with a Grade 10 or higher qualification
• be a South African citizen
• reside within 5km from the project site (proof of residence will be required as proof)
Note: there are 90 project sites within the 4 regions where participants will be placed
Participants will be paid a stipend R2 160 per month working 3 days per week.
The Health Maintenance programme is scheduled to commence on the 1 February 2023 and will end on the 31 March 2023.
