Ghana Universities Debate Championship 2020
The Adjudication Core for the 2020 Ghana Universities Debate Championship is now
accepting applications for the position of Deputy Chief Adjudicators.
The Deputy Chief Adjudicators would be expected to assist the CAs in:
Providing training/briefing for judges and speakers prior to, and during the
tournament
Motion setting and selection
Reviewing feedback forms and ranking adjudicators based on feedback
received
Running an excellent tournament
Other debate related tasks
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
Each application would be thoroughly reviewed, giving priority to the following:
Relevant debate/adjudication experience
A clear understanding of the art of adjudication, particularly with respect to
being a member of the Adjudication Core
Ability to provide high quality feedback
Organisational abilities
Work ethic
Institutional and gender representation
