Are you among those who recently were considered under the different sponsorship programmes or who no longer need student loans?

Were you offered support under the Government Sponsorship Scheme or any other funding including Chinese Government Scholarship, Madhvani Scholarships, etc, and would like to exit the Students’ Loan Scheme?

Here are the guidelines of ๐„๐ฑ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž Uganda Higher Education Students Financing Board (HESFB) ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ’ ๐‹๐จ๐š๐ง ๐’๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ๐ž.

1, Write to the Executive Director informing them about the new development

2. Ask for termination of the Student Loan

3. Seek to know your Loan balance at closure

4. Provide your contacts details

5. Send it HESFB either physically or by email.

The Higher Education Studentsโ€™ Financing Board (HESFB) was established in February, 2014 by an Act of Parliament HESFB Act No. 2 of 2014, with a mandate to provide Loans and Scholarships to Ugandan students to pursue Higher Education.

HESFB is intended to provide loans and scholarships to Ugandan students who have qualified to pursue accredited courses of study or programmes in the recognized Higher Education Institutions in Ugandaย but are unable to support themselves financially. HESFB implements the Students Loan Scheme.
