How to Accept or decline your UFS study offer

In this post we will be sharing how students can accept or decline University of the Free State (UFS) Study Offer. Have you received a final offer? What comes next-

How to accept/decline UFS study offer

Step 1 – Log onto https://www.ufs.ac.za/studyoffer. The offer will lapse within 5 days (96 hours) if not accepted.

Step 2 – Enter your student number and corresponding password

Step 3 – Click on ‘Accept/Decline’ study offer

Step 4 – Available offers are displayed. Applicants can decline all offers or accept one offer.

Step 5 – Decline all offers

Step 6 – Accept an offer by clicking the ‘accept’ button

Step 7 – Finalise your choice by clicking ‘OK’

If you have forgotten your password , go to selfservice.ufc.ac.za  to reset your password or contact 051 401 9111 (Press option  4) for Assistance.

You must make sure that all your contact details (cell phone and email) are correct. This is extremely important for information sharing of the UFS.

If you accepted the offer, read registration information will be sent to you within two working days. Read through all registration information as sent per email:

  • Registration Guide
  • Snapshot
  • Registration website (ufs.ac.za/register)

Sort out finances

Make sure the first payment  is made five working days prior to registration at the UFS

If you have an approved  bursary /sponsorship that will cover all your fees please submit the confirmation letter.

NSFAS approved students will receive an sms from the UFS financial aid office to inform them that the university system is open for registration. The university can only send you an sms once NSFAS has confirmed your funding with the UFS.

If you have not received an sms from the Financial aid office within two weeks of NSFAS Confirming your funding, you should contact  the office to help you find a solution.
