How To Get Your SASSA SRD Payment Dates Schedule
SASSA grant recipients will need to keep up to date with the payment schedule in order to receive their payment on time. In this article, we will show you a few outlets you can keep an eye on that will provide you with Sassa grant payment schedules and keep you up to date with any changes that may occur.
The South Africa Social Security Agency (Sassa) distributes grants and allowances for groups in South African society needing assistance. These include grants for children, the older persons grants, disability grants and the Social Relief of Distress grant (SRD) which is R350.
Sassa grants payments are made in various ways, which include it being paid directly into your bank account, through your SASSA card or through CashSend.
Sassa grants will no longer be distributed at the post office. Instead, grants may be collected at a supermarket of the recipient’s choosing, provided that they have their own cell number to withdraw their grant. Learn more
Beneficiaries can collect their payments at any Pick n Pay, Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers or USave merchant. Sassa grant recipients who receive payments directly into their bank account will receive payment as soon as it is available.

The SRD grant payment dates are available on Sassa’s social media channels, these dates will be posted and confirmed by Sassa each month.
