Inauguration of 3rd Cycle of Trainees- Delta State Rural Youth Skill Acquisition Programme (RYSA)
810 trainees were officially inaugurated into the Delta State Rural Youth Skill Acquisition Programme (RYSA) today as they begin the journey of a lifetime towards financial independence.

stated that the aim of the programme is to raise self-sufficient entrepreneurs from the rural areas who will in turn, grow to be employers of labor thereby strengthening and improving the economy of the State.
The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, (SSG) Chief Patrick Ukah, urged them to leverage on the platform given to them.
Chief Ukah stated ” the focus of RYSA is to concentrate efforts at developing youth entrepreneurs in rural communities who will stimulate the growth and development of business in their immediate communities”.
Present at the event included the State Commissioner for Information, Hon. Charles Ehiedu Aniagwu, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Engr. Lawrence Ejiofor, Engr. Smart Ikem, Executive Secretary, Delta State Vocational Educational Board (TVEB),Chief Job and Wealth Creation Officer Professor Eric Eboh ably represented by Onyeisi Nkeicho.
Others are Mr Ed Mekwuye, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Youth Monitoring and Mentoring, Chief Mrs Shimite Bello, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Export Initiative and Coordinator UNIDO centre, Hon. Orezi Esievo, Executive Secretary Delta State Micro,Small and Medium Scale Enterprise Development Agency (DEMSMA), the Obi of Issele-Uku represented by Chief Victor Egbune and a host of other prestigious royal fathers and dignitaries.
