Welcome to the Innovation Campus Codepreneur Program!
The Codepreneur Course is designed to equip you with IT and Entrepreneurship skills to help build your knowledge in the core areas (information technology and entrepreneurship) and become conversant of the influence of IT in business, the workplace and how IT skills can help you gain financial freedom.
Why does it matter?
The world is continuously evolving and becoming even more connected with the use of technology and innovation to solve problems and improve the functionality of the various aspects of our daily lives. Now more than ever, you find yourself interacting daily with computers and technology, with the advancement of technology comes the evolution of modern day workforce.
Thus having knowledge on IT and Entrepreneurship (Business) is essential in standing out, developing your competencies and expanding your world view . Thus the Codepreneur Program is designed to help women develop skills and competencies that to better compete in the workforce, and bridge the gender gap in ICT and the workforce. Our mission is to train and empower women and girls in STEM, ICT and Entrepreneurship would use as an employee in any job or to begin your journey as a business owner/start-up.
Must be female 18 years and above
Must be resident in Adamawa state for the duration of the program (interested applicants outside of Adamawa State, are responsible for their travel, housing and logistics during the course).
Partnering with the Cisco Academy and Google Business Group (GBG), the Codepreneur Program is a certificate training which comprises introductory courses to IT essentials and Entrepreneurship, taking you from a beginner level, to intermediate. Below is a list of the topics to be covered:

Once enrolled, each participant is required to select one track in addition to the Google Technologies course from the list below :
Google Technologies (Compulsory): Learn the ins and outs of operating Google’s vast collection of applications, software and platforms such as google my_business, google drive, google site & youtube.
Get Connected : This introductory-level course, Get Connected (English) teaches basic Information Technology (IT) needed to compete in the global workforce. With a focus on basic communication and collaboration technologies, including social media.
IT Essentials :The digital world is upon us both personally and professionally. Having a better understanding of the Internet, computers and social media can be a big help toward acquiring digital skills. And, once you have these skills there are many more possibilities opened to you as far as career advancement. Learn how to use a computer, connect devices and access search, email, and social media. Enjoy course content that is very user-friendly and interactive with lots of illustrations! No previous knowledge is needed for this introductory course.
Web Development :Learn how to design, build and publish a website in our Web Development module and become a skilled web developer.
Embedded Systems: Go behind the scenes and discover how things work in computer systems and technologies. Discover the components and programs within the hardware and software of a computer system that makes all the magic of 21st century computing happen
LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP COURSES
Entrepreneurship (Compulsory) : Welcome to the Cisco Networking Academy Entrepreneurship course! This course is designed to help you develop skills that you can use along with your IT skills and knowledge. Entrepreneurship focuses on teaching critical business and financial skills, attitudes, and behaviors to help you succeed in the 21st century workplace.
Leadership (Compulsory): Learn about leadership styles, techniques and the habits of good leadership to evolve and improve your personal leadership style to become a better leader and motivate people towards achieving organizational goals.(unconscious bias & workplace inclusiveness)
