Kenyan's President suspends Job Specific Skills Training in KYEOP Cycle 4 Counties

In line with Kenyan’s President’s directive to contain the spread of Corona Virus, Job Specific Skills Training (JSST) has been suspended in all KYEOP Cycle 4 Counties until further notice.

Kenya Youth Employment & Opportunities Project (KYEOP) is to increase employment and earning opportunities among targeted young people across Kenya.The main beneficiaries of the proposed project will be youth between 18-29 years of age (with some component extending up to 35 years) who are jobless and have experienced extended spells of unemployment or who are currently working in vulnerable jobs.

The Ministry of Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs (MPYG), through the Directorate of Youth Affairs (DYA) under the State Department of Public Service and Youth is the coordinating agency for the project.

Communication will be sent out as the situation progresses.
