KZN To Unveil 17 000 Community Works Programme (CWP) Beneficiaries
The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government, led by Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube, will showcase the remarkable success of the Community Works Programme (CWP) in addressing unemployment and poverty in the province.
The Premier and MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Bongiwe Sithole-Moloi will unveil over 17 000 beneficiaries of the CWP as part of government’s trailblazing S’thesha Waya Waya initiative.
As part of a decisive intervention to reduce unemployment, the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government has announced a ground-breaking campaign to create jobs primarily in the transport sector. S’thesha Waya Waya, is a Department of Transport-driven campaign, which is part of honouring the commitment made by Premier Nomusa Dube.
Premier Nomusa Dube – Ncube wll also ue the opportunitiy to officially launch the Provincial E-recruitment Portal. The online e-Recruitment system ( www.kznonline.gov.za/kznjobs ) , which embraces technology will provide citizens with easy access to search and apply for available positions from the comfort of their computer, laptop, or mobile device. Our aim is to bring services closer to you, the citizens.
