Sassa grant payment dates – Recipients of the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) R350 grant will only have four days on which they can collect their grants this coming week.
The SRD grant has no fixed payment date. Beneficiaries must note that the last three digits of their ID number determine on which day they can collect their SRD grant from the Post Office.
There are only four R350 grant distribution days this week. This is because the Post Office does not distribute the R350 grant on public holidays.
While Family Day will be celebrated on Sunday, 17 April 2022, The Public Holidays Act No 36 of 1994 determines whenever any public holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday following it shall be a public holiday.
Therefore no R350 grants will be distributed at the Post Office on Monday 18 April 2022.
