Latest News on UNISA – myExams platform Unavailable Due To Maintenance
The University of South Africa (Unisa) has been exclusively offering its qualifications by means of distance since 1946. This means that the university cannot allow its systems to be outdated or unmaintained as this will result in students being affected.
Unisa has embraced the fact that they need to adapt quickly to the fast-paced higher education environment of the 21st century, shared the university.
The institution uses a number of online tools for its teaching and learning process, making it important for these tools to function satisfactorily.
The university has made an announcement regarding some of its online tools used by approximately 40 000 students.
In a statement, Unisa confirmed:
Maintenance activities are performed daily on the myExams platform between 04:00 am, and 05:00 am. Routine maintenance takes place between 03:00 am and 05:00 am on the myModules.
The maintenance may be taking place in the early hours of the morning, but some students might try to access these tools to use them.
It is for this reason that the university has thanked its students for their patience and understanding during this period.
According to Unisa, ongoing and routine maintenance needs to be performed to keep systems performing without fault.
