More states benefits from FG Conditional Cash Transfer

The Federal Government has rolled out the Conditional Cash Transfer, CCT palliative for the vulnerable in Abuja,Anambra, Katsina,Sokoto and Nassarawa states.

This is coming after its commencement with the Federal Capital Territory by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

This is contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the Minister on Media and Press Affairs Mallam Salisu Na’inna Dambatta.

According to the statement the beneficiaries were drawn from various Local Government Areas of the states.

The payment was part of the immediate palliatives promised by President Muhammadu Buhari to alleviate the effect of the partial lock-down of the country as parts of the measures to contain the COVID-19 Pandemic.
