National Young Innovators Entrepreneurship Programme for Kenyans

The State Department for Labour and Skills Development in collaboration with the Chandaria Business Innovation and Incubation Center, Kenyatta University, are pleased to announce a call for applications for the National Young Innovators Entrepreneurship Training Program (Phase II) to be delivered virtually.

The objective of the programme is to provide young innovators with the entrepreneurial skills that will enable them build successful commercial ventures from their innovations.

Successful applicants will be facilitated with data bundles in order to enhance their access to the programme.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a Kenyan citizen
  • Is aged between 18-35 years
  • Is proficient in computer skills
  • Has developed an innovation or invention

Requirements

The applicant must submit the following documents (in soft format) to the Programme Director, Chandaria Busi-ness Innovation and Incubation Center, Kenyatta University, using the following email address: [email protected]

  • Brief outline (I page) of the innovation or invention developed by the applicant
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Copy of National Identity Card/Passport

Women and persons with disabilities who meet the specified requirements are encouraged to apply and also indicate so in their applications. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
