The NHIF USSD allows you to access various NHIF selfcare services. For new members , you can dial *155# on any phone toll free and register as an NHIF member.
NHIF SELFCARE SELF MEMBER REGISTRATION
The following are the requirements : National ID Number , Date of Birth ,Mobile Phone Number , Employer’s NHIF Code if Employed , Your County , Nearest NHIF Office.
CHOOSE PREFFRED HOSPITAL
You can choose hospital of choice for Principal Member and Dependants. To Select a Hospital follow these steps
- Login to Web/Mobile App or via USSD
- Click ‘Choose Facility’
- Select Member/Dependant
- Select County
- Select Hospital in selected County
- Submit to Save Choice of Hospital
CHANGE CHOOSEN HOSPITAL
You can change the choosen hospital for Principal Member and Dependants. To Chanhe a Hospital follow these steps
- Login to Web/Mobile App or via USSD
- Click ‘Change Facility’
- Select Member/Dependant
- Select County
- Select Hospital in selected County
- Submit to Save Change of Hospital
PAY VIA MOBILE MONEY
You can Pay Monthly Contributions, penalties and Arrears via USSD and Mobile App
- Login to via USSD/Mobile App
- Click ‘Payment’
- Select Type of Payment
- Enter Amount to Pay
- Enter Mobile Phone to Pay from
- Await MPESA PIN Prompt on paying Mobile phone
