NIN – How to Link Several Phone Numbers via NIMC Mobile App
Inline with the directive by the Honorable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) to network operators and users regarding linking of NIN to all Sim Cards. The management have extended blockage of sim till 19-01-2021 12:00pm. So as to allow more people to link there sim
We have decided to create this post to help those who are yet to link their NIN to their sim card do so in order to avoid deactivation of their Sim.
If you have a NIN, you can download the NIMC mobile app or visit http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nimcmobile and link as many as 7 phone lines seamlessly.
Download the mobile app and then install, follow on screen guide to gain access process.
You will be asked to provide your 11 digit NIN.
Input your NIN and click done
Click to Agree to Attestation
You will be asked if you are still using the number linked to your NIN or not
If you are still using the number click “Next”
A user I-D and 6 digit OTP will be sent to your mobile phone
Enter these codes shown and then click done. Note: Do not delete the codes sent. You will need them later.
Congratulations – Enter a 6 digit Pin as password to gain access to your profile
It then displays your profile.
NIN – How to Link Several Phone Numbers via NIMC Mobile App
This is easy, to link all your phone numbers to your NIN seamlessly, click on “My Devices”.
And then click “Add mobile number”
Insert your desired phone number and then click next
You will then be asked to provide the 6 digits OTP sent to your phone earlier. Input the code and then click finish
