No R350 Grant Payment This Friday SASSA Says

SASSA NEWS – There are days throughout the current week when Sassa will not disburse the R350 grant. Here they are, as well as the R350 grant payment dates for the rest of the month.

April is well into its second week and with only one Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant payment being made this past week. The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has confirmed all the dates in which SRD grant payments will not be made this week, here they are.

When it comes to the disbursement of the R350 grant, Sassa does not pay it out on days in which they have to prioritize paying out other social grants.

In addition to this, the social security agency does not process R350 grant payments on weekends and public holidays. With that in mind, R350 grant payments will not be paid out on the following days this week:

  • Thursday 15 April 2022
  • Monday 18 April 2022

Here is when you can expect to collect your R350 grant this week and throughout the rest of the month: Keep in mind that the dates listed below are arranged according to the last three digits of a R350 grant beneficiary’s ID number.

  • 13 APRIL: 080 & 085
  • 14 APRIL: 081 & 086
  • 19 APRIL: 082 & 087
  • 20 APRIL: 083 & 088
  • 21 APRIL: 084 & 089
  • 22 APRIL: 080 & 085
  • 25 APRIL: 081 & 086
  • 26 APRIL: 082 & 087
  • 28 APRIL: 083 & 088
  • 29 APRIL: 084 & 089

Beneficiaries are also advised to always wait for an SMS confirmation, informing them about the availability of their grant prior to going to collect it.

Sassa also advises that you do not need to fetch your grant on the first day and that the money will always be available for you to collect.

Those who collect their R350 through a bank account are reminded that there is no fixed payment date, since Sassa has assured beneficiaries that they will receive the SRD grant payments due to them.
