The Minister urged the graduates at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria in Abuja to use the resources at their disposal to become leaders and change-makers in their communities.

The Minister stated, “I am specifically here to symbolically bid farewell to all the trainees of the N-Knowledge training programme for the 6 geo-political zones of the country.”

Training sessions where you all learned the core components of the programme in your respective tracks included well-organized curricular meant to shape you in the choice of your trades to become useful to yourselves and develop competencies which will increase production and add to the overall growth of the society.

As you can see, the N-Knowledge program is geared toward preparing young Nigerians for success in the domestic and international digital job markets by providing them with the training and credentials they need to enter the workforce.

Nigerian youth can at least benefit from the software development outsourcing market thanks to training programs that aim to improve their skills in software development, hardware management, and the creative use of information and communication technology.

Umar Farouq urged the recipients to put the equipment at their disposal to good use and discouraged them from reselling their starter kits.

You’ll receive the various training tools in convenient starter packs. These were purchased so that you could make the most of your time in the camp and get a head start on your chosen profession when you left.

In addition, you will receive a sealed copy of your training completion certificates, which serves as proof of your good conduct and attendance. All the training resources were tailor-made to accommodate the varied curriculum options in Hardware administration, Software engineering, and Artistic design.

The Minister expressed gratitude to His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, for his unflagging commitment to ending poverty and for his unwavering backing of the National Social Investment Programme.

She gave out awards as well as laptop computers and desks to the recipients. Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, had earlier praised the trainees for their professionalism and good behavior throughout the training and urged them to continue in this vein moving forward. The National Cordinator, Engr Umar Bindir, spoke on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, who wished the apprentices well and encouraged them to make the most of their opportunity.

We stress once more the importance of each trainee viewing this opportunity as a gift not to be squandered. If you want to shape your future, it’s important to practice the skills you’ve acquired through interacting with people from different walks of life, making friends, and learning and discovering together. Consider that thousands of people just like you applied for this programme, and only you were chosen because you met all the requirements for participation. This is not to be joking about.

During their apprenticeship, recipients will receive a monthly stipend of N10,000.

Directors of the Ministry, Dr. Ganiyu Obatoyimbo, Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of the Public Service Institute of Nigeria, and the Hon. Minister’s staff were present.
