NSFAF DENIES ALLEGATIONS OF N$15 MILLION PAYMENT TO ONE CALL SOLUTIONS- The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) denies the allegations made in an article published on the Facebook pages of the Parliament of the Republic of Namibia and the Informanté newspaper on 13 October 2023 that it paid a total of N$15 million to One Call Solutions, and that the company failed to deliver services to the Fund for a period of four years.
NSFAF appeared before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Accounts (PSCPA) on 12 October 2023, where the PSCPA questioned the NSFAF management with regard to the One Call Solution, an entity that was contracted when the Fund was in the Ministry of Education to provide registry services.
At no point during the hearing was there a mention of the supposed N$15 million being paid to Once Call Solutions or that the company failed to deliver services to the Fund for a period of four years as alleged on the Facebook pages of the Parliament of the Republic of Namibia and the Informanté newspaper.
NSFAF wishes to assure the public that it takes its responsibility to manage public funds seriously and is committed to transparency and accountability.
