NSFAS Ask Students To Respond to Acceptance Letter

NSFAS News – If you have submitted your application to the University of South Africa for the academic year 2023, we will contact you shortly. It is highly recommended that you keep a careful eye on how far along your application is getting.
Unisa is requesting that all prospective students who applied for admission for the 2023 academic year respond to their acceptance letters of enrolment within ten days of receiving them. Should they fail to do so, it is possible that they will have to withdraw their application.

It has been brought to the attention of prospective students that they have ten days to react to acceptance offers for enrollment in the year 2023. If you do not accept the offer within the allotted time frame of ten days, the offer may become invalid, and you will be required to reapply during the subsequent school year.
Applications for admission to undergraduate programs at the school that provides higher education through the internet reopened on November 22, 2022, and remained open until December 7, 2022, according to the school’s announcement. This admissions window was for a select number of programs.

Because there will be no self-service kiosks available at regional offices for the processing of applications, all applications must be submitted online.

The following items are Required of Applicants:

  • A valid email address
  • A working number for a mobile phone
  • Applicants from South Africa will be required to provide an identification number. Applicants from other countries will need to provide their passport number.
  • An official copy of your academic credentials (eg Senior Certificate)
  • There is an R125 application fee, which is required to be paid once you have received your student number (where applicable).
  • Please visit this link for further details on the application process at Unisa.

Any questions regarding the postgraduate application process should be directed to the college to which your qualification belongs in the following format:

Because the verification of applications takes some time, Unisa may not provide feedback to applicants until six to eight weeks after the application deadline has passed.
