Question: When i try to call the call is answered by an automated consultant and it says they are currently not taking any calls.

NSFAS Student centre: We do apologize for the delay’s in getting a call. Please note there is a large number of calls and a waiting period to reach our agents on the line. You may also use our social media platforms to reach us, thanks.

Question: when are you guys attending all the outstanding applications cos my status still stand on “Evaluating” Since last year November.

NSFAS Student centre: Please be advised we can confirm the applications are being attended to at the moment. Please monitor the portal for updates, thanks.

Question: You always tell us to reach u through emails, calls amd private messages but you dont respond to them. My Application is still stucked on evaluation for months now i have uploaded the guardianship documents 3 times. If i am not funded just say so so i can derigester and go home

Question: My status is still saying “funding eligibility without admission” I’ve registered at UJ already but nothing is happening and I’m on the list for 2022 cycle.

NSFAS Student centre: Please note funded lists are updated on the regular and once we receive the registration data, our records will be updated. Please allow some time.

Question: When are we going to be answered? It’s been a while our statuses hasn’t changed , it’s still on Evaluation . Can you please process it cause we having depression and and classes has already started.

Question: Then if you are not around cape town meaning you wont get help because social media is not doing any justice really,we are stuck with unfinished application.

Question: Why don’t you guys build an office in every institution how are we supposed to travel to cape town since your call centres are always busy?

Question: The SARS that is close to me is always closed so I couldn’t get a ITA34 document, I submitted my IRP5. Will it be a problem?

NSFAS Student Centre: Provided it will declare financial situation, it will be fine.
