Online Application for Zimbabwe Form 1 Students 2024. Applications for Form One student enrollment at government and private boarding schools for the 2024–2025 academic year are now being accepted online.
They opened on Wednesday, November 1st, and will end on January 15, 2024.
Applications will be held by the Ministry via the Electronic Ministry Application Platform (EMAP). The platform will open for heads of boarding schools to begin enrolling students for 2024 from one after grade seven results are released.
The permanent secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Mr. Moses Mhike, issued a circular stating, “The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education will be running an electronic platform for enrolling Form One boarding places for 2023.”
It is recommended that guardians/parents who want to send their kids to boarding schools begin the application process on the website (www.emap.co.zw).
Mr. Mhike stated that boarding schools only had a small number of openings. Students who were not able to enroll on EMAP were urged by him to apply to secondary schools.
The secretary went on to say that the Ministry works hard to offer relevant, affordable, accessible, equitable, inclusive, and healthy education. She also urged all heads of schools to refrain from giving Form 1 entrance exams.
