Prime Minister Youth Entrepreneurship Loan Scheme for Pakistan Young Entrepreneurs
Prime Minister’s ‘Kamyab Jawan Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme’, for young entrepreneurs and existing businesses between the age group of 21 – 45 years (18 Years for IT sector), is designed to provide subsidized financing through 21 Commercial, Islamic and SME banks under the guidance and supervision of the State Bank of Pakistan.
The loans will be disbursed to SME beneficiaries across Pakistan, covering; Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The Program aims to provide 25% of the loans to women entrepreneurs.
Who can Apply for Prime Minister Kamyab Jawan YES Program?
i. All men/women holding CNIC, aged between 21 and 45 years with entrepreneurial potential are
eligible. For IT/ E-Commerce related businesses, the lower age limit will be 18 years.
ii. Small and medium enterprises (startups and existing businesses) as per definition of SBP and owned by youth as per above mentioned age brackets are also eligible.
For IT/E-Commerce related businesses, at least matriculation or equivalent education will be required
