R350 Grants Starts Today
Todays latest news on SASSA Grant- It might be your turn to collect your Sassa Social Relief of Distress grant today, so be sure to check the dates listed below to see if the last three digits of your ID number correspond with today’s collection date.
The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has reminded recipients of the R350 (SRD) grant that they will only be able to receive their payments on one day for the rest of the week. Here is the reason why, as well as other important grant payment dates.
R350 grant recipients are reminded that the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) will today proceed with dispersing grant payments today.
There were no R350 grant payments throughout the previous days of the week due to Sassa processing other social grants, such as the Older Persons, Disability, and Children’s Grants.
Sassa does not process SRD grant payments when other social grants are being paid out. However, starting next week the social security agency will resume SRD grant payments for the rest of April in accordance with the dates listed below:
- 08 APRIL: 082 & 087
- 11 APRIL: 083 & 088
- 12 APRIL: 084 & 089
- 13 APRIL: 080 & 085
- 14 APRIL: 081 & 086
- 15 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
- 18 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
- 19 APRIL: 082 & 087
- 20 APRIL: 083 & 088
- 21 APRIL: 084 & 089
- 22 APRIL: 080 & 085
- 25 APRIL: 081 & 086
- 26 APRIL: 082 & 08
- 27 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
- 28 APRIL: 083 & 088
- 29 APRIL: 084 & 089
The dates listed above are arranged according to the last three digits of a beneficiary’s ID number. Grant recipients are also advised not to go collect their R350 grants before they receive an SMS confirming that it is ready.
Should you be receiving your R350 grant through a bank account, it’s good to know that there is no fixed payment date, as Sassa has assured beneficiaries that they will receive the money that they are owed.
It is also well worth noting that Sassa does not pay out the R350 grant during the period in which other grants are being paid out
