SASSA Grant Payment Starts This Week For April
latest news on sassa r350 grant – The distribution of social grants will begin this week. The new grant payment schedule will ensure that grant recipients will have access to their money earlier this month.
Earlier this year, the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) announced that permanent grants will be distributed to beneficiaries from the second day of every new month.
For April, the second day of the month fell on a weekend. Grants are not distributed on weekends and public holidays. If the second day of the month occurs on a weekend or public holiday, the grant payment will be processed on the next working day.
Here are The Grants Being Paid This Week
Monday 4 April – Older persons grant
Tuesday 5 April – Disability grant
Wednesday 6 April – Children’s grants and other grants
Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant payments will resume on Friday 8 April 2022, starting with clients with ID numbers ending in 082 and 087. This applies to clients collecting their grants at the Post Office.
