How SASSA June SRD Grant Payments Got Delayed

SASSA R350 Grant Latest News today Wednesday 27th April 2022

This week will see the continuation of April’s theme with public holidays resulting in the non-distribution of R350 grants at the South African Post Office (SAPO).

The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) R350 grant benefits more than 10 million people monthly. However, the grant will not be distributed at the Post Office on Wednesday 27 April 2022.

This is because South Africa is celebrating Freedom Day, a public holiday in the country.

Freedom Day is the commemoration of the first democratic elections held in South Africa on 27 April 1994.  These were the first post-apartheid national elections to be held in South Africa where anyone could vote regardless of race.

The Post Office does not distribute grants on weekends and public holidays. This will mean that no R350 grant payments will be made on Wednesday.

The SRD grant has no fixed payment date. The last three digits of your ID number determine on which days you may collect your money from the post office

Here Are The R350 Payment Dates For Next Week

25 April: ID numbers ending in 081 & 086

26 April: ID numbers ending in 082 & 087

27 April: No Payment

28 April: ID numbers ending in 083 & 088

29 April: ID numbers ending in 084 & 089
