JOB OVERVIEW
Youth Service Ambassadors
Young people who will participate in community development programmes within their communities and the services promoting HIV awareness and testing, vaccination programmes, facilitating educational sessions for youth development and life skills, promoting zero dropout Initiative and identifying school dropouts for return to school, participate in skills development programme for personal growth
AREAS
Eastern Cape: Buffalo City Metro & Amathole Distriict Municipality
SELECTION CRITIERA
· Passed Matric
· Aged between 18-33, preference of female participants
· Vaccinated for COVID 19
· Community experience, an added advantage
· Aware of their HIV status
· South African citizen
· Working within your own community
DURATION
6 months
STIPEND
1 484,16 per month (16 hours per week) earning a weekly stipend
NUMBER OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE
· Buffalo City Metro – 2000 (each sub district will have 250 candidates)
· Amathole District Municipality – 1000 (each sub district will have 250 candidates)
