South Africa 2022 Census News on Enumerators Training
In todays latest South Africa 2022 CENSUS NEWS – A lot of questions surrounding the training of enumerators for the forthcoming South African 2022 census. In this post we will share highlights of some of the answers to the most frequent questions asked.
For projects, STATS SA use SMSes to contact candidates, and will follow-up telephonically
Proof of residence is the only document that needs to be uploaded on the HR Database. You bring the other documents if you get invited for training.
If you are invited for training you will be given information. Other candidates are under no obligation to share this information with you.
The SMS will ask if you are still available to be employed, and ask you to respond with your unique code that you got when you registered. You can retrieve your unique code from the HR Database Recruitment system.
If you respond, you will then be given the details of where and when to come in for the competency test or training, depending on the project. Please bring the following documents with you: certified copies of ID, matric certificates and driver’s license (where applicable). A. If the position requires driving ability, a driving competency test will also be administered.
Field Operations Officers write an assessment test first & then go for training. Fieldworkers attend training first and then go through an assessment test after the training. These are two different roles.
After the competency test or training, you will be informed whether or not you have been successful.
The HR personnel will fill you in on what is expected of you, the duration of your contract, and the remuneration/salary (this will differ per position).
You will be issued with the necessary tools to do your job. You will need to return all the
Tools that have been issued to you in order to be paid.
