SPRING HEALTH INITIATIVE YOUNG EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM 2020 FOR KWARA STATE RESIDENTS
The young executive leadership program is a one year volunteering and training event designed to equip undergraduates with firsthand experience of work and workplace/employ-ability skills.
Participants will work with the Springs Health Initiative in volunteer managerial positions for the period while receiving practical training
on work place skills. This is in tandem one of our core organizational objectives and key focus – capacity development for socioeconomic growth of women, youths
and children.
Mission:
We are passionate about transforming young African talents into employable job roles that can drive national development in all spheres
Program goal:
·To train and equip participants with soft skills and
work place employability skills with practical and case scenarios
·To build a social and career network for post program launch of participants career
·To form a volunteer management team for the initiative
Program Outline:
·6 key training with business executives and mentors at
·6 peer training and workshop session
·Planing and implementing projects and programs.
Eligibility:
·Applicant must be a tertiary institution student resident within Ilorin town throughout 2020
(excluding first year students)
·Must be able to attend team meet up at least 2 times a month
·Must be able to volunteer at least 3 hours a week to delegated tasks
·Must show strong motivation and passion for community development and civic leadership
Targets:
Our focus is set on the undergraduates (excluding first year students). To harness their strength and remodel it for national growth
Duration:
The program will run for 12 calendar months from January to December 2020
Task Description:
·Co plan, implement, and evaluate all activities of the initiative with the central team
·Represent the initiative at presentations, official meetings, and events
What you will gain:
·Access to high level skill training and mentorship
·Access to personal network of human resources across different sectors of the country
·At the end of the program, each participant will get a certificate, letter of recommendation, and an award
·Possession of work experience and relevant job skills for 21st century
