SRD Grant Payment Schedule For the Rest of February 2022
In todays latest SASSA News – If you are a beneficiary of the Sassa R350 SRD grant and have opted to collect your grant payment at the post office, here’s the payment schedule for the next week.
The South African Post Office distributes grant payments to beneficiaries of the R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant from the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa).
Here are the 350 grant payment days for the last week of February.
These days will only apply to beneficiaries whose identity document number has the last three digits listed below:
- 21 Feb: 082 & 087
- 22 Feb: 083 & 088
- 23 Feb: 084 & 089
- 24 Feb: 080 & 085
- 25 Feb: 081 & 086
- 28 Feb: 082 & 087
Beneficiaries should note that there are no grant payments at the Post Office on weekends. Sassa also doesn’t process the R350 grant on days that other SASSA grants are paid out.
The Post Office has reminded beneficiaries to collect their grant payment only once they have received an SMS from Sassa, to say that their grant available.
Sassa introduced the Special Covid-19 R350 SRD grants in 2020 to provide financial assistance to individuals who were unemployed and could not take care of the needs of themselves and their families, due to the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
