The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) 20th Anniversary Competition for Nigerians (Cash prizes)
As part of activities to mark the 20th Anniversary of the Commission, the Commission is organizing a series of events tagged “₦20 million from ICPC at 20” during which the sum of ₦20 million would be given to the winners.
ICPC 20th Anniversary Competition Categories
- A National Music Competition for the Youth (15 – 29 years);
- An Essay Competition for students of Secondary Schools with ICPC Anti-Corruption Clubs and EFCC Integrity Clubs (public and private);
- Integrity Awards to be presented to 2 deserving Federal Public/Civil Servants.
National Music Competition
As part of the 20th Anniversary celebration, ICPC is organizing a music competition for Nigerian youths (15-29 years). This is an opportunity for the youths to creatively express themselves on anti-corruption issues in musical compositions and present to the public for an opportunity to win.
ICPC is therefore calling on all Nigerian Youths, resident in Nigeria to partake in this music composition which will be entirely online.
PRIZES:
- 1st Prize: Three Million Naira (₦3,000,000)
- 2nd Prize: Two Million Naira (₦2,000,000)
- 3rd Prize: One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦1,500,000)
- 4th Prize: One Million Naira (₦1,000,000)
- 5th Prize: Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦500,000)
National Essay Competition
A National Essay Competition among students of schools having Anti-Corruption and Integrity Clubs established by ICPC and EFCC respectively in public and private junior and senior secondary schools across the country in commemoration of ICPC 20TH anniversary.
The competition is intended to build the capacity of the youths to always shun and fight corruption.

- 1st Prize: ₦1,000,000.00 only (for the school & winning student) & laptop (for student only)
- 2nd Prize: ₦750,000.00 only (for the school & student) & laptop (for student only)
- 3rd Prize: ₦500,000.00 (for the school & student) & laptop (for student only)
Senior Secondary Category

Integrity Award for exceptional Public Servants
The ICPC Integrity Awards for Exceptional Public Servants is as a reward system instituted by the Commission to recognize and appreciate public servants with exceptional acts of integrity. The first edition of the Integrity Award was held in November 2019 with the presentation of awards to 2 deserving public servants: ACG Bashir Abubakar, Nigerian Customs Service and Mrs. Josephine Ugwu: Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.
The second edition of the Integrity Award is proposed to be by a call for nominations to Nigerian MDAs, to nominate an Exceptional Public/Civil Servant who has exhibited outstanding Integrity in the course of duty.
PRIZE!
- The monetary value of the Integrity Award is Five Million Naira for 2 awardees – male and female. Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦2,500,000) each.
