You are reminded that It is important that applicants check with the Financial Aid Office of the prospective institutions they plan to study at in 2022 to verify if their choice of qualification is funded by NSFAS.

NSFAS applications for 2022 opened on 2 November 2021 with an initial closing deadline of 7 January, which has since been extended to 21 January 2022.

Applicants have also been urged to note that if they track their funding status and find that it says ‘Awaiting Academic Results’ and ‘no’ on the funding tab, it simply means that NSFAS is still evaluating and processing their application.
