TOTAL UGANDA 6G CODED WELDING AND QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR TRAINING 2021 FOR UGANDANS
Sunmaker Oil & Gas Training Institute has been contracted by Total E&P Uganda to offer free training to interested eligible individuals for:
- 6G Coded Welding leading to ISO certification (75 individuals).
- Quality Control (QC) Inspection and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) leading to ASNT Level 2 certification (25 individuals).
This is a call for applications from eligible applicants as communicated below.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – 6G WELDING
- Ugandans 18 years and above originating from Buliisa, Nwoya, Masindi,
Pakwach and Hoima districts - Holders of O’level certificate/equivalent OR Holders of a National Vocational and Technical Crafts certificate in Welding and Metal fabrication OR Have at least 2 years of practice/experience in Welding and Metal fabrication
- Have basic English reading and writing skills, good mathematical skills
(advanced numeracy) and physics skills (basic knowledge in electricity) - Have good eyesight and be physically and medically t Preference will be given to applicants previously trained in 1G, 2G, and 3G coded welding who have proof of their training/certification
- Able to commit to stay at the training institute for at least 3 months and
complete the training - Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – QC INSPECTOR
- Ugandans 18 years and above originating from Buliisa, Nwoya, Masindi,
Pakwach and Hoima districts - Holders of A’level certificate/equivalent OR Have at least 2 years of practice/experience in Welding and Metal fabrication
- Have good English reading and writing skills, good mathematical skills (advanced numeracy), physics skills (basic knowledge in electricity) and
technology skills - Able to read and interpret technical drawings understand the different types of electricity, understand formulas and apply the correct units in formulas
- Have good eyesight and be physically and medically fit
- Able to commit to stay at the training institute for at least 3 months and complete the training
- Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

the forms were collected from. - Application and training is free of charge therefore applicants are
requested to disregard/report requests for money to the provided
contacts.

and practical assessments to check welding knowledge and conrm
