Turkana County Youth and Women Empowerment Fund (Phase 2)

Public announcement to all youth, women and persons with disabilities groups in Turkana intending to apply for the Youth and Women Empowerment Fund phase II (2).

You can now access the Youth and Women Empowerment Fund loan form from the Turkana County Government website using the attached link below.

Duly filled loan forms and all the accompanying documents can be submitted to the respective ward administrators’ office or directly to the County Department of Trade, Gender and Youth affairs.

Eligibility

This is a program of Turkana County Government aimed at enabling the youth (18-35years), persons living with disabilities and women to access affordable financial services for business start up, expansion of already existing businesses or LPO financing.

Loan Amount

The maximum loan amount is Ksh 100,000 per group repayable in 24 months with a grace period of one month.

Check list of copies of documents attached

  • Renewed Certified copy of registration certificate by social Services.
  • Bank Account details
  • Copies of ID of all members
  • Signed List of Members with Phone Numbers.
  • Business Proposal
  • Group Constitution
  • Two copies of Signed Minutes of the group for the previous meetings and one Minute requesting for the application of this fund.
