University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) 2023-2024
The University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) for Academic Year 2023-2024 will be administered nationwide on the 3rd and 4th of June 2023 (Saturday and Sunday). Many buildings in the UP Diliman campus will be used as test centers for an estimated 50,000 UPCAT examinees. Also read: UPCA 2023 DPWAS News On Appeals and Waitlist
For this reason, there shall be no in-person classes or course activities in the UP Diliman campus on the aforementioned days of the UPCAT. Members of the faculty who have classes or course activities that will be affected by the administration of the UPCAT are requested to resort to remote or asynchronous modes of learning.
We should anticipate a large volume of traffic from 5:30AM to 8:00AM, 11:00AM to 1:00PM and 5:30PM to 7:00PM not only within the UP Diliman campus but also along Katipunan Avenue, C.P. Garcia Avenue, and in the PHILCOA area leading to the University Avenue. Hence, you are requested to designate drop-off points and parking areas for both UPCAT examiners, examinees, and the companions of examinees to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic around your buildings.
Please also note the following, for the security and safety of everyone:
- Only authorized UPCAT personnel and the examinees will be allowed to enter the examination areas in the buildings used as test centers (the list of test centers is attached for your reference);
- Access to the other parts of the buildings by the officials and staff of the unit may be provided if they present a written authorization from the Director of the Office of Admissions; and
- All construction work being done in the buildings as well as road construction must be suspended during the days of the UPCAT.
