Vaal University of Technology 2022 Disbursement Of NSFAS Allowance
In todays latest NSFAS News – The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is releasing the 2022 funded students lists in cohorts. Allowances will be disbursed to students registered for funded qualifications. The Financial Aid Office monitors the funding list from NSFAS and the allowances will be processed accordingly.
DISBURSEMENT OF BOOKS AND MEAL ALLOWANCES
Students who are funded by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) in 2022 and registered for funded qualifications will receive the books and meal allowances on their personal bank account. The Financial Aid Office, IT Department and Adapt IT are in the process of finalizing and activating access for students to capture their personal banking details on ITS/iEnabler from 2022.
Student will have access to capture their banking details on the ITS/iEnabler once the process is finalized by the three parties, the anticipated date is the 4th March 2022 at 12h00.
NSFAS funded students will receive communication advising them to resume capturing their banking details.
Students are advised to capture their banking details correctly and they must not share the ITS/iEnabler login credentials pin with anyone. The books and the meal allowances will be paid directly to the student’s bank accounts after the banking details verification is done.
The University will submit the registration data to NSFAS after the registration process is concluded. The meal allowance for one month will be paid in March subject to finalisation of registration process and submission of registration data, whilst waiting for funds from NSFAS in April 2022 for books allowance. The institution will be engaging NSFAS on the allowances budget in an attempt to request an upfront payment.
