Voltex Learnership Programme Application Now close for 2023-2024

Voltex provides an exciting 12-month learnership opportunities for unemployed youths in South Africa. However, its 2023 Application is now close, Application closed on the 14th of July 2023

For those who have a passion for retail and warehousing, Voltex leadership is a chance to gain valuable skills and knowledge. When you participate in the Voltex learnership program, you can work towards obtaining valuable work experience and much-needed exposure to this sort of field of work and possibly grow a lucrative career.

Here are some of the responsibilities

Assist with receiving stock, quality checking, handling and packing
Assist with dispatching of stock, quality checking, handling and packing
Process orders (picking slips) from Internal sales
Ensure the correct items and quantities are pulled, and to sign on the picking slips and stock bin cards.
Take customers stock / orders and paperwork to the dispatch area
If applicable ensure any cable cutting is correct
Ensure good stock control and administration
Attend to customers that come in to collect stock / orders
Assist with loading and offloading of stock and packing in correct stock allocation areas
Ensure effective housekeeping and safety according to prescribed standards
Ensure stores are kept neat and tidy
Ensure that security regulations are always adhered to
Perform other duties under instruction from the Branch / Stores Manager when required
Assist with stock taking

Requirements

A valid Grade 12 certificate (essential)
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a stores / warehouse environment
Good product knowledge
Computer literate (advantageous)
To have good communication skills both written and verbal
To have good time management skills
To have great customer service skills
To be able to work well in a team
To be meticulous and be able to pay attention to detail
To be physically fit for manual labour
To be able to work in accordance to health and safety regulations
