When will CACH System Close For University & College Placements

The Central Application Clearing House (CACH) system is an online system which is provided by the government and was designed and introduced by the Department of Higher Education to help those who would like to access university, college and skills development.

The CACH system opened on 24 January 2022 and the system will close on 31 March 2022.

For those looking to further their studies at university or college, the online system is said to be more advantageous for prospective students who submitted their University or College study applications during 2021 but have not been offered a place for their chosen course.

Individuals can also make use of the online system to access any SETA learnership without having to travel to higher learning institutions. CACH also makes sure that applicants do not fall prey to fake higher learning institutions.

Those who sign up will be required to provide details, which include their chosen study programme, as well as accept and reject offers on the CACH system.

Once you have signed up then you can check the status of your application by logging onto the web portal using your credentials.
